International Women’s Day

Happy International Women’s Day! One of my friends posted on Instagram today, in her home country they don’t have a specific day to celebrate just mothers but rather celebrate all women on March 8th! So today we celebrate all you amazing women out there!

As a mother to a young girl, I feel it is so imporatnt to raise her to be strong, independent and confident. I strive to seek out positive role models and enroucage her to explore, challenge perspectives and stand up for what she believes in. With young children, I often find literature a great place to help support my parenting values and extend my childrens’ worlds.
